Case Study #2:

Ship Loader

Destination: Tubarao, Brazil

Cargo: Ship loader

Volume: 15,000 frt

Job description:

Transportation of ship loaders from Guangzhou, China to Tubarao, Brazil.

The two shipments were based on the preliminary detailed technical preparations and material supply by air and ocean from Europe and  Brazil to China.

The main units measured 49.50 x 16.90 x 21.20 m with 1,880 t unit weight, were loaded by the vessel cranes after dismantling of the counterweights.

For the midstream loading operations at about 40 km down the Pearl River towards Hong Kong some 800 t shackles and tailor-made grummets were used.

Discharging at Tubarao was also arranged by means of the vessel cranes.

Case Study #3:

Equipment for MDF Plant

Branch in charge: Germany

Destination: Itajaí, Brazil

Cargo: Equipment for an MDF Plant

Volume: 4,500 frt

Job description:

The project consisted of several shipments: the cargo from Germany was shipped as a part charter, some container lots were shipped from Italy and and the other container lots – from Shanghai, China. The entire shipment was arranged to CFR Itajaí, Brazil.

A bin belt was the largest piece:13.550 x 4.430 x 4.760 mm, 34 t.

Case Study #4:

Metal Processing Plant

Branch in charge: Germany

Destination: Joana Leite, Brazil

Cargo: Metal Processing Plant

Volume: 2,942 frt

Job description:

This project cargo was shipped in 6 lots. The smaller pieces stowed into container and the out-of-gauge pieces loaded onto flat racks.

The out-of-gauge cargo was discharged at port of destination Santos and the whole cargo was delivered on the basis of DAP Joana Leite by using standard trucks and mega trailers.

The largest piece was approx. 1225 x 180 x 211 cm 9.5 t.
