UN Global Compact

Since October 2012 Hansa Meyer Global Transport GmbH & Co. KG has been a member of the UN Global Compact initiative. In joining this initiative, we have committed ourselves to ten universal principles in the areas: human rights, working standards, environmental protection and the prevention of corruption as well as the support of the sustainable development goals.

The United Nations Global Compact is the world’s largest and most important initiative for responsible corporate governance and pursues the vision of an inclusive and sustainable global economy for the benefit of all people, communities, and markets, today and in the future.

In addition to economic criteria, we select our business partners based on sustainability criteria and social, environmental, and ethical standards, which are reviewed before we enter into a partnership with a potential new business partner.

Our progress reports are published transparently via the UN Global Compact database.
