NEW MDF PLANT FOR EGYPT

Hansa Meyer Global Transport Germany has been awarded the logistics contract for a MDF plant with an annual production capacity of 205,000 m³  to Alexandria, Egypt.

The new plant is considered as fundamental contribution to supporting the governmental efforts in Egypt to realize an environmentally friendly, CO2-reducing and sustainable use of rice straw.

Our scope of work includes breakbulk cargoes (including units up to abt. 40mtons) plus several hundreds TEU in several lots from the Port of Bremen to the Port of Alexandria.

Operations already started and project is scheduled to be finalized in April 2021.
