Job description:

Hansa Meyer Global has been nominated to arrange the transportation of two large vessels from the client´s factory in Thailand to an Oil Refinery in Laem Chabang.

Due to the dimensions a careful planning and transport during night time was required. The project team of Hansa Meyer Global had to participate in meetings with the Oil Refinery in order to comply with all the safety requirements for transportation inside the plant.

Job description:

We arranged shipments from Europe, USA, Indonesia, Japan and Korea, with delivery to the site, DDU Chana, located in Songkhla Province about 1,300 km south of Bangkok. The scope of work also included civil works, assembly of condensers and installation of the condensers and gas turbine generators onto the foundations.

All heavy cargoes were unloaded by a heavy-lift vessel onto the barges at the Songkhla port and transshipped to a private jetty in the Songkhla Lake for roll-off and delivery to the site after intermediate storage.
