Job description:
The shipment was arranged from EXW Massen, Germany, via port of Brake to Chennai. Hansa Meyer Global was responsible for loading of goods in Massen, transport to port, port handling and ocean freight.
This project included two complete wind towers with 10 main tower sections and 2 foundation parts. The main tower sections had a length of 27.4 m and a diameter of 4.3 m. The maximum single piece weight was 69,800 kg.
The shipment was effected by part charter on MV “Indian Dawn” to the port of Chennai.

Shipments in various lots from the German port of Hamburg to the Mumbai gateway in the state of Maharashtra, India.
This project consisted of two complete cement production lines, including gearboxes, kiln tires and various heavy lifts. The main component had a single piece weight of 158 t and we were responsible for the full transport chain, including port handling (load and discharge port), as well as customs clearance, and on-carriage to the job site.

Shipments in various lots from different Chinese ports, as well as from the German port of Hamburg, to Chennai in the state of Tamilnadu, India.
This project included a complete dismantled TBM (tunnel boring machine) from Herrenknecht, as well as 9 locomotives and 1200 tracks for the tunnel working trains and a conveyor belt system for the excavated soil. All items are imported to India to build the first underground metro train system in the growing city of Chennai (former Madras).

Shipments in various lots from the Chinese ports of Shanghai and Tianjin, as well as from Hamburg, Germany, to Chennai in the state of Tamilnadu, India.
The heaviest single cargo weights were of the 10 mill stands – 110 t each. Our own offices in Chennai and Shanghai were responsible for loading and discharging surveys and assisted the Hamburg office to implement such a complex project.
