Job description:

Transport of equipment for  2 x 10,00 tons per/day production lines Cement Plant from FOB India, Germany and Asia to DAP Jobsite Al Kharj, Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia.

The total transport volume sums up to 360,000 FRT with 80 heavy lift up to 145 tons , over dimensions cargoes and 4000 containers.

The total project volume had been dispatched over the duration of 3 years (November 2016 up to November 2019).

Volume: 6,665 frt / breakbulk incl. 2 gear boxes 153 t and 2 tables 108.3 t each

Job description:

We shipped 6,665 frt from Antwerp, Belgium and Shanghai, China to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. Our scope of work included all services from FCA and FOB Shanghai up to CFR Jeddah.

Operations started in August 2015.

Volume: 8,000 frt, the heaviest piece - 98 t

Job description:

The customer requested us to execute the whole shipment project with the cargoes originated from Germany, Poland and China.

Transportation from different loading ports (Hamburg, Antwerp, Shanghai) was executed in close cooperation with our offices in China and Dubai, based on sea freight of FCL, break bulk, OOG and h/l cargo, to the ports of Jeddah and Dammam.

Pre-carriage to  FOB Hamburg and Antwerp was handled by us directly from  different suppliers: TK Industrial Solutions and TK Fördertechnik.

The heaviest item (gearbox – 98 t) originated from Elblag, Poland, supplier – FLSMaag.

Destination: Jeddah + Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Volume: 11 transformers and accessories the heaviest unit - 267 t

Job description:

Our scope of work included port handling, export customs formalities at the port of export and sea freight from the North Sea ports of Antwerp and Hamburg to Jeddah and Dammam, by a break bulk vessel.

Furthermore, our service was completed by a survey load-out report  informing the customer about the status of shock recorders and dry-air applications, together with a daily track and trace report.

The transformers were shipped in several lots and over a period of 12 months.

Handling operations at the ports of export were executed indirectly and directly, i.e. the cargo was loaded from a truck or barge directly onto an ocean vessel, in accordance with the transformer sizes and availability of the ocean vessel.

Job description:

Transportation from different countries of the cargo origin was executed in close cooperation with our branches in China and Egypt, including pre-carriage and sea-transportation of FCL, breakbulk, OOG and HL cargoes up to Jeddah port, KSA.

Transportation by a charter vessel included three lots of breakbulk cargo out of Adabiya Port, Egypt, as well as the cylinder from Shanghai (China) – with dimensions of 1671 x 608 x 624 cm, weighing 159 t.

The charter vessels were directly offloaded in the port of Dhuba for on-carriage of heavy and oversized items to Dhuba site.

Volume: 12,000 frt

Job description:

Shipment of the heavy lifts up to 232 t to Yanbu – 85 km away from the plant site – was performed by 3 vessels equipped with cranes of sufficient lifting capacity.

Installation of the 6 MAN diesel engines and 6 generators onto the foundation at the height of 7 m was arranged by a lift and look – gantry system with a capacity of 800 t.

Job description:

Hansa Meyer Saudi Arabia. has been nominated by Larsen & Toubro Co. to transport total 700 containers and small Transformers to Hail, Sudair & Makkah S/S Project sites. The Onshore Execution, both under control of Hansa Meyer Saudi Arabia are going on smoothly and without any delays. The equipment have been delivered safe and sound to client’s satisfaction to all Substation Sites.
